A warm welcome
Welcome to Maison Doré
Our ovens have stayed warm for three generations, and the little queue down Linden Court still forms before sunrise. Sit a while with a flaky pain au chocolat and a stone-milled country loaf — each one shaped by hand and proofed overnight, in deep respect for the laminating traditions we inherited.

Warm From The Oven
Eggs cracked at dawn, croissants laminated by hand, jam simmered in small copper pots — a breakfast that earns the early start.

Why Maison Doré
Honest Pastry, Made Slowly
A good loaf cannot be rushed. As our counter has grown, so has our neighbourhood — yet the way we fold and proof has not moved an inch. We still take the slow hours, and we still finish every tart by hand.

Baker's pick
The Raspberry Mille-Feuille
Three sheets of caramelised puff, vanilla crème and fresh raspberries — assembled to order so the pastry never loses its snap. Our most-requested birthday centrepiece, and the reason the September queue is longest.

A fourth-generation French bakehouse in Hayes Valley. We laminate, proof and bake by hand from open till close — and pour it all alongside small-batch, house-roasted coffee.
